Bailey is a fictional character from a short story I wrote for my college senior seminar. It’s about a little girl’s journey through Purgatory, and the pursuit of her lost identity. Bailey is her guardian angel, who has defied the divine law that forbids angels to enter this temporal afterlife. He takes the form of a large blue-eyed raven, and follows her around, attempting to keep her out of trouble.
I am the creator and voice of Bailey the Bird. Like my avian friend, I have a penchant for living freely and enjoying good eats After having graduated from Kean University, I received my Bachelor of Arts in English (writing concentration), and I just recently completed the Columbia Publishing Course this summer (2007) and am in the process of finding an editorial job.
I do love to read and write. It took two misspent years of being a computer science student to make me realize it. I enjoy many different genres, but I’m particularly fond of classic fiction, fantasy, science fiction and mythology. I’m also known to browse through web comics from time to time. When it comes to writing, I often do modern fictions, fantasies and poetry.
As for other interests, I’m a big fan of photography! I’m also into movies (mostly psychological thrillers and fantasies) and the occasional anime. And one thing I cannot get enough of is my favorite snack combination… Pocky and milk tea.
